About Otto

Otto was very much loved, but his person, who was homeless, thought he deserved more. We know there is someone that is going to love this little dude, who is just as sweet as sweet as can be. He's in a foster home now, and doing really well, getting along with the other dogs, and fitting right in. He is a kind, gentle dog who is looking for a family or person who has a nice lap to lay on. He loves walking, so if you want to get out around your block, or take him places to stroll, he will be a nice partner for that. He does well with everyone, and has been around kids too. We just want to make sure they are savy as to how to pick up dachshund, with their elongated backs. If you are interested in giving Otto a home, let us know! We are a FORCE FREE rescue. The adoption contract you will be signing specifically states that you agree to NEVER use any aversive methods nor tools like a shock, prong or choke collar. Please, consider everything when making a decision to adopt a dog. As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. You may need to come back to us to complete shots, spay or neuter, hw test. You will receive 6 mths of HW preventative.You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, as well as a gift card from Choice Pet Market if you live in one of the designated zip codes. Training is MANDATORY and will be scheduled at a later date and place.
