About Steel

Say hello to Steel! Steel is a gorgeous eight-month-old male pure-bred German shepherd who currently weighs about 70 lbs. As happens with German shepherd puppies, Steel has turned out to be too much for his current owner. He is full of energy and is very smart, and since he's not getting the attention and stimulation he needs, he has torn some things up. Steel is a little uncertain and shy with new people in his home, but he warms up once he's given some time to get comfortable with them. He is good in public and goes with his human to Bass Pro, where he is friendly with other dogs and people. He's been great with other dogs he's been introduced to and loves to play! Like all GSD puppies, Steel loves to play ball and is treat motivated. He knows basic commands, is good with kids, walks well on leash, is housebroken and crate-trained. He is currently up-to-date on shots and will be fully vetted including neuter, heartworm test, and microchip prior to adoption. Adoption fee is $150 to cover the cost of vetting. Adoption application, home visit, vet reference and adoption contract are required. Filling out an application is the first step in our process.
