We like to describe him as an unruly goof bag. A bit of a pain in the butt with his devilish teenager ways, the only thing this kid loves more than fun is MISCHIEF! If he went to school, his behaviour report would read something like this: - he can be a very excitable dog and will jump up on people straight away (so not suitable for a family with children less than teenage) - he is very dominant young man so requires a strong leader figure to ensure his manners are kept inline and nipping does not creep back in - he's good with other dogs but can get jealous if you pay too much attention to another dog - very vocal, barking at strangers to let you know they are around and sometimes at other dogs when very excited However the fun side comes out in him and he uses his intelligence to entertain himself: - by on occasion attacking washing if it is blowing in the wind as it stimulates him - by stealing unattended food off the table or out of cupboards (I mean if you can reach it, why wouldn't you right?!) - by saving you from having to purchase self opening sliding doors, as he can open them himself - by 'helping' to pick fresh fruit & veg from the garden as he really loves to eat it - by being a wannabe toad collector Can we see a show of hands ������%8F� if you know someone like this in your family? (probably with a smooshie face too...) But in all seriousness, with this boy's age on his side, he really has very basic Boxer needs and given those, he will thrive. Plenty of company, plenty of stimulation, a life inside the home with your family, consistent and strong boundaries, ongoing lead training, ongoing socialisation, lots and lots of love and positive reinforcement. After all he is still in his puppy years.
