About Mickey

Foster Location: Boise, ID Adoption Fee: $25 Born: Mid June 2018 neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Mickey and his siblings came to Fuzzy Pawz when they were about 3 weeks old, they were quite sick for some amazing foster parents worked hard to get them healthy. Mickey is now healthy, happy and ready to find a home of his own. He is sweet and gentle. He loves to cuddle and demands your attention when he's in a mood for cuddles. He absolutely loves to have his ears rubbed and once you start, he wants more. Oh my goodness, what a lover he is! When Mickey wants love, Mickey gets love and attention. He's like most cats, give him a box with some crunchy paper in it and he has a hay day. He could spend hours chasing the ball that goes round and round in circles and tumbling in somersaults on top of it. I hope you like the name Mickey because he does. Mickey knows his name and comes running when you call. He's a gentle soul with a soft purr and likes to cuddle around your neck. He also likes sleeping with you at night. So, if you don't want a cat in the bed with you, you're going to have to shut your door. Some might call Mickey a special needs Kitty but he really requires nothing special but love. Mickey has cerebellar hypoplasia which has given him a slight wobble in his back-end with some weakness. It doesn't keep him down though. He runs like a cheetah and jumps like a leopard. Sometimes his back end looks a little drunk when he walks and he can fall over when he jumps up or down or when he loses his balance. Mickey will need a human who will appreciate this special characteristic. He's adorable to watch walk and waddle . He is on the petite side and probably won't be a large cat, but he has a beautiful, soft, silky coat and loves attention. He has lived with dogs and cats; he tends to shy away and hide if the dog is loud and physical like a bull in the china shop. So a gentle dog or other cat would be fine.
