About Nelson Willie

Hi my name is Nelson Willie. I have some of the most soulful eyes you will ever find. I love my family very much but do to unforeseen circumstances my mom can't keep me. I currently have a great dane sister and kitty brother but I don't do well meeting new friends. The pointer comes out in me and sometimes smaller animals I see as prey. I love long walks, runs, and hikes and love playing in streams. I'm not much of a swimmer but I do enjoy the water. I know basic commands such as sit, stay, shake, and down but the stubborn pointer comes out in me and sometimes I need to be told an extra time. I've never been used as a hunting dog but my mom thinks with a little patience and training I could be great. I am the type of guy that for sure needs a job. Currently my job is going on runs with my mom and making sure that she get's home safe. I love the outdoors and could spend most of the day if given the chance but I also greatly enjoy afternoon naps on my bed. Snuggling is one of my favorite things to do. My mom often calls me butter boy because I will melt into her during our cuddle sessions. I really need a home and would love to have one in time for Christmas.
