About Boy

'Boy' was found on the street and followed a neighbor home one day. He was undernourished, no collar, unaltered, and filthy dirty with infected bug bites on his underside. He was brought to the vet where he was found to be micro-chipped. Contact with the listed owner was attempted several times over a week time period. When the owner listed did not respond, the family took Boy back to the vet, had him neutered, vaccinations given, heart worm tested (he came back heart worm +), and started heart worm treatment. The family was going to keep Boy, but soon realized he did not mesh well with their cats. When the family decided they would have to take Boy to the humane society if another family didn't take him, we stepped in and took over his care. We have 3 other dogs and Boy gets along with them very well! He has been the sweetest pup (vet estimates him to be about 18-24 mths old). He loves to snuggle and loves baths. He loves to run outside. Boy needs a fenced yard where he can run around! He loves being with other dogs but gets overwhelmed if he is put into a group of dogs he has not yet met. Boy needs a forever home with someone who will take the time to properly train him and give him the love he deserves!!
