Meet Star. She has a story behind her and will need a very special person in her life. Star has spent five hers chained up 24/7 in a backyard of a family who adopted her from a shelter in Texas. Prior to her adoption, she was in a foster home and was very loving and confident. However, after five years in a backyard, she is timid and not sure of people. She is not aggressive, just scared. Her previous family were moving and were just going to euthanized until a rescue stepped in. She has had a completed health check done, bloodwork, and heart worm tested. All vaccinations brought up to date. She is also micro-chipped. She was sent to me here in Idaho in hopes, here we can find her the right home. Star is doing good. We are working on the leash. She loves me to pet her and give her neck massages. She is getting accustomed to being in the house but prefers her quiet space. Our own dogs walk among her as well as our mini pigs. She has no issues. She needs time and patience to learn what love is all about. She will need a secured yard. We have dealt with dogs that have been broken/neglected and seen them blossom again with the dedication of someone who will love them. We feel Star will blossom again. If you have time and patience and would like to help Star, please contact me at 510-366-0588.
