About Opal

Opal was rescued from a woman in her 90's who couldn't manage Opal's spunky personality and need to always be near her. The woman was more independent than her cat! So she decided to give her up to our rescue so we could find her a better match. Opal is very sweet, loving and always seems to be near. She likes to play with our puppy constantly and is very submissive with our other cats, too. She is a total cuddle bug at night and enjoys being held for short periods of time so you may bask her in glory! She isn't snobby at all, though. She is funny and inquisitive and loves to play! She will do best as an indoor kitty, although she has an interest of the outside while sitting in the screened in porch!
