About Watson

Reason for being in rescue: Found as a stray Special Needs: none noted What kind of home would be best for me: Watson would love a relaxed but somewhat active family to call her own. What is my personality like: Watson is sweet and friendly but can be a little shy. She is not as robust as her sweet Beagle friend, Holmes. This girl is all about the attention you give her. As long as she is being petted she is satisfied. Watson does like to chase toys but doesn't understand the 'retrieving' part. Holmes walks great on a leash, but will stop dead in her tracks if startled by something. So far she has gotten along with every dog she has met and enjoys their company. When meeting the cat, the cat reacted and Watson went about her ways and ignored the negative behavior. In true Beagle fashion, Watson loves to find new places to sniff and going for walks. Not only is she well mannered and sweet, she is smart as well. She is catching on very quickly to the 'sit' and 'down' command for treats. The only thing this girl is missing is her family! How do I act when I first meet new people: Loves to meet people! Tips and Tidbits: Watson was found as a stray in SC with her friend Holmes. House trained: Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule.
