Dorothy is a special dog, with a special story %9D%A4%8F She came to us early August as a stray. Everyone who has met her at our North Central Animal Services center only has the best things to say-- she's nice, sweet, smart, silly, overall amazing! In mid-September, Dorothy moved into foster care. Her foster mom, Dr. Chapoval, is a veterinarian at the Affordable Animal Hospital in Eagle Rock. She ran tests on our girl and found out that Dorothy had cancer. The Affordable Animal Hospital works with LA Animal Services on spay/neuter surgeries throughout the year and Dr. Chapoval went above and beyond by volunteering to provide treatment for Dorothy at no cost. She removed her cancerous mass and will now gladly offer follow up medical care to the person who adopts this loving gal. Dorothy spent time recovering with her loving foster mom and is now back with us at the North Central Animal Services Center (3201 Lacy Street, Los Angeles, CA 90031), and her Animal ID is: #A1802730. 67 Lbs 7 yrs
