About Mary Lue

Adoption Fee: $475
Dachshund mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

Meet Mary Lue. Mary Lue is a 1 yr old, 8 lb high energy Doxie who was rescued from a Daschund hoarder home in late October. She loves to run around and play. She is very happy sitting on your lap being petted. She gets so super excited to give kisses that she accidentally head-bumps you. Mary Lue loves her resident fur siblings and plays well with them, and she is working hard on house-breaking. She does have a tendency to guard her food, so a family who can work with her on this would be great. She barks often at new people and dogs - they make her nervous until she gets to know them. She is very fast and looks for holes in the fencing so a very well maintained fence or tether is needed. She is still a puppy who needs love and guidance The adoption fee of $475.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please visit our website at www.starfishanimalrescue.com or you may complete the online adoption application on our Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/starfishanimalrescue/app/134425496630143/?ref=page_internal Once you complete and submit your dog adoption application we will set up an appointment to meet this pup! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
