About Pax

Let's welcome Pax to Pensacola! She came in from Panama City due to the hurricane. She is a beautiful 2 year old dachshund mix with the most gorgeous eyes! One is blue and one is amber! Pax is a 14 pound bundle of sweetness! She is still a little shy around all of her foster doggie siblings but is slowly starting to relax and play. We think she has been through a lot so it's not unexpected. She will require a fenced in yard because if startled she will run. We hope that once she settles into her forever home that will stop. Pax is fully vetted and spayed. She is also heartworm negative. She is good with older kids that will take their time to let her get to know them but due to her timidness she does not need to be with younger kids. She has not been tested with cats. She loves to be snuggled with and sleep in the bed with her people but will also sleep in a dog bed if that isn't an option. She is doggie door trained too but may have a few accidents while adjusting to her new environment. All she wants now is her own forever family!
