I know the fall is rolling in, but it isn't too late to hold on to summer! Hi, I'm Summer, physical fitness coach and toy enthusiast, and I am ready for my forever home. I am active, social, and always ready for adventure. Wanna go for a car ride? Great, I'll go out and start it up and I'll even keep your seat warm for you. If you're a lover of the great outdoors, just wait until you get to explore with me. And that will be super easy for both of us since I'm a pro on a leash! My foster says I'd be a great fit with other dogs in the small to medium size range, but I'm also a cat lover. I love kids and I can teach them how to do all kinds of cool stuff, like chew on toys, hang out on the couch, and how to administer proper belly rubs. Now listen here, I've been working hard on my diet and exercise routine so I could catch your eye with my girlish figure. I'll need to eat Hill's Metabolic dog food and get some regular exercise, so when I beg you for your McFlurry, you must have the fortitude to say no (but you know, you don't ALWAYS have to say no). Just email Augusta Dog Adoptions and they'll set us up on a date! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and hold adoption events at Petsmart in Waynesboro, VA (821 Town Center Drive Waynesboro, VA 22980) every Saturday. A $175.00 adoption fee ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
