Be sure to watch Pam's video on adoptapet or here - https://youtu.be/T8HwOnh9Ab8 Pam is a two year old, 40 lb. Australian Shepherd mix. She was rescued from a 30 dog hoarding situation where she had been chained up outside for most of her life. She was emaciated, but as sweet as can be when we brought her in. She is a friendly, happy girl who is incredibly affectionate and loves to snuggle. She is beautiful and has the most adorable doggy 'smile'. She is great on a leash, though sometimes she gets sidetracked by bugs flying by or jumping around. She is VERY playful so an ideal companion would be a young, playful, neutered male buddy. She might be a little much for an older dog. Same goes for cats. She is friendly and great with most adults and our 9 year old twin boys, but can be a little nervous around intimidating people and too high energy for smaller kids. She is a smart girl who is eager to please and will be easy to train. She is already crate-trained, leash-trained, house-trained and is learning basic obedience. She is fully vaccinated, dewormed, spayed and microchipped, is heartworm negative and has been on heartworm and flea/tick prevention. She is an amazing girl and will make a fantastic addition to a loving forever home. Her adoption fee is $400. Please check out animalkare.org or email [email protected] for more details.
