Black baby Betty is a gorgeous girl growing up to be ready for her new home. She was the unintended consequence to a POA mare getting into the pasture with a draft stallions. Already larger than her Mom at 1 year old, she has been identified by draft professionals as having Percheron qualities from her coloring, size and structure. Mom is 12.5 hands, Betty is 13.5 at 16 months old this September. Expected to mature to just around 15h. Betty has been handled since birth and will walk nicely on a lead line. She is used to some grooming and has gotten into the trailer willingly. However, as she grows we are continuously learning new elements of her personality, recently attempting (and succeeding) jumping over 4' gates! While I would love to keep this horse for a wonderful riding and driving prospect, I am open to selling her to someone with more time and skills to start training her early on.
