Riley is about 11 months, 39 pounds, and, with the right owner, is the next agility champion, flyball champion, frisbee champion, or obedience/dance champion. He lives for both squeaky toys and treats, but would rather retrieve a ball than anything else as many times as you can throw it. Once he is comfortable with you, he will love you to the moon and back, but initially he is suspicious. He will bark until he knows someone is not a threat, a little more at men than at women; but when he is excited about an activity, say the dog park, all that seems to go out the window and he just wants to play with the other dogs and chase the ball. He finds children threatening. He is very smart and learns extremely quickly. From my experience with him and my dogs, he is at the bottom of the pack order. He is very 'bouncy' which my senior dogs don't care for but he will take their correction well. He was already neutered but he is now current on all shots also. We are working on crate training. He is very good on recall and really wants to please.
