Meet Precious Patti: As written by her owner. My little dog needs a new home. She is a pug, shihtzu, dachshund mix with long hair and an incredible underbite. She is very friendly, and wonderful with babies and other dogs. Since she is getting older, she gets a little grumpy if a puppy pesters her too much. I have two very young children, so I can say with confidence that she is wonderful around little ones. Sometimes she is snuggly, but for the most part she is fairly aloof. She loves to be around her family, and adores walks. She is in good health. I have had her since she was a puppy. Medical history, in her 11 years she has had one mild eye infection and one bladder infection. She has had a small cherry eye since she was a puppy that has never bothered her and never needed treatment. She is up to date with all of her vaccines and has been seen at Ladera Ranch Animal Hospital. She only needs to go out twice a day, and is fully housebroken. (We recommend more walks-from Doggie Bonez) If she isn't walked long enough to poop at least once per day (5-10 minutes), then she will likely poop inside, but this isn't really her fault. I have lived in condos and apartments since I got her, so she has never had a yard. Her trickiest habit is her separation anxiety. She will immediately canvas her available space for left behind food, or napkins and destroy them. We have never had an issue with her damaging anything other than unattended food. The easiest solution for us has been limiting the space she has access to while we are gone. Side Note: She has been in Doggie Day Care where she will socialize with pups all day. She is more of pup who just does her own thing. She has also been around a standard poodle who has lots of energy. Patti prefers to interact a bit, but then do her own thing.
