About Kaisa

My dog Kaisa, is looking for a new home... Although she's always been a lover and WONDERFULLY well behaved dog (no accidents, never chews, got along well with our cat and other dog), she has shown aggression toward our 11 mo old son (Show of teeth, nipped him). His quick movements, shrieks, and curiosity has her in an utter state of discontentment. After tough consideration, we've decided to find her a home that's a better fit. She loves women, but takes a little longer to warm up to men. She was a rescue when I got her at 1 yr, and came from filthy conditions and a hot tempered man. Once she warms up, she won't leave your side. I write this with tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat the size of a softball. I don't believe in disposable pets, and never had any reason to assume that she'd be spending her last years with anyone other than me. Accidents will happen, but the repercussions can hurt... and this one cuts deep. She's in good health, and loves walks. She is also a toy hoarder. She loves getting new presents and will prance around and show off her stuffed babies to anyone willing to look. I'm not sure how she is with older kids, because I don't have any in my life. Bottom line, I want her to go to a home of love. A place where shes comfortable and mildly spoiled... or majorly.
