About Lissa

Just take a gander at those soulful eyes, they just melt your heart!! Lissa has the most expressive face and if she could she would be smiling all the time, she is quite a happy girl. She is just 9 months old and ready for a forever family. That is a lot of bouncing around for a puppy and it can be very unsettling and Lissa was a little anxious at the shelter so came to rescue and we are more than happy to have this sweet girl join our crew. She absolutely adores the other dogs and has been keeping herself busy playing, running, and being the silly pup she is. Lissa is a natural climber and very agile she would probably be an excellent hiking companion. It took Lissa a few minutes to warm up to us when she first got here, can't blame her after all of the uncertainty in her life, but once she has a chance to gradually check you out she is the biggest love and very affectionate. She is an awesome girl and so incredibly smart and eager to please. She will do well in a family with older kids ONLY(she can be rambunctious), another dog would be great and an active lifestyle is a plus since Lissa is also a pretty busy girl. We are guessing she is some sort of lab/hound mix and is currently about 43 pounds so she will most likely be a medium sized dog. Her adoption fee is $250, now $199!! We are reducing adoption fee's on many of the dogs and also offering free supplies in hopes of more adoptions. The holidays are coming-we all love the holidays!!
