About Muffy

Muffy came to us when her owner became ill and could no longer take care of her. He was heartbroken to give up his baby but at least he knew she would be in good hands with us and we know she we will find her the perfect home to love her forever. Muffy is 14 years old and does have some health issues - she does not hear well but that just makes her a quiet gal and one that will not bark when the doorbell rings; she injured her ACL but is on the mend, and she has been diagnosed recently with 'A-Typical' Cushings disease. In spite of her medical issues, Muffy is a very sweet and loving dog that wants nothing more than to roll over and have her belly rubbed! She is housetrained, gets along great with everyone (dogs and humans), and loves to hang out and snuggle with her human. Muffy does not like to ride in cars much as it causes her anxiety, but she likes to go out for short walks and explore her surroundings.
