About MARIO

Mario was found on 10/19 as a stray on the Southside, despite our efforts his owners were never found. The vet says he is about 3yrs old and is an altered male. He is VERY timid at first, he hid for over a week in our home, and if approached during this timid period he can get approached during this timid period he can get defensive. For a fairly young dog he is super mellow and just likes lounging on the couch or bed, once he has settled in. He is potty trained, leash trained and fine with both multiple cat and/or dog homes. He is a social dog with others and I would recommend he be with other fur babies and in a calm home with teenagers or no children given his snappiness when timid. He eats dry food, no health issues when vet checked him over including good teeth, he waits patiently in line for his nightly bone and is a cutie pie. Not a barker unless stranger at door. Very mellow, will be a loving addition once he warms up to someone and they give him a chance.
