About Pigeon

Walter was found grounded as a young bird and is not able to be released. He would make a great companion for someone who already has a pigeon who needs a friend. Our birds are not available for breeding and we do not ship birds, so you must travel to our south Kansas City area facility. Potential adopters must call 816-356-4700 for an appointment, and must fill out an adoption application and pass a screening interview to ensure that our birds are going to a safe home. There is usually a 48 hour waiting period after your interview before you are allowed to adopt because we want people to take time and think thru their decision. Adoption fee for this bird is $5
