About Edna

Little Miss Edna is a sweet little thing! She looks like a pocket size version of a Labrador and acts like one too ;) She knows she is cute. Edna was found astray three months ago and the finders made all recommended attempts to locate owners. She was also heavily pregnant. Her puppies found homes and now she needs to. I think the family would have kept her had they had a fenced yard but Miss Edna likes to chase cars and pedestrians in typical small dog fashion. So for her safety, she came to rescue to be fully vetted and find a lifelong family with either a securely fenced yard or the dedication to leash walk at all times when outdoors. Edna says she prefers a fenced yard so she can prance to her fancy. She is great with the children, our dogs of all sizes and the cats too. She loves to cuddle and give hugs. She does NOT like her nails trimmed so we are doing our best as they are very very long. She screams bloody murder and throws a tantrum fitting of a princess. An adopter unless skilled, patient, equipped with 4 hands, and relentless will likely do best to take her to the vet or a groomer for regular nail trims. I imagine she reacts with as much drama for vet exams and shots as well. We will see! I am guessing at her age based on teeth condition but small dogs can be deceiving. The vet will a more accurate estimate. Oh, and she's adorable. She looks bigger in pictures than she is in person. A securely fenced yard is required if a yard is available.
