SAY HELLO TO TIM! Tim is an adorable snowy white mostly Maltese wih a smidge of Poodle mix boy. Weighing in at just 10 pounds, this little man is a gentle sweet boy who would make a great companion for anyone who wants a gentle quiet friend. Tiny Tim is a little timid when meeting new people, however becomes a sweet and affectionate boy once he gets to know you. We don't know much of his past but he was found as a stray emaciated, badly matted, nails turned in and in very poor condition. Though we searched for owners, they were not found nor did they come forward to claim him. Tim walks very nicely on his leash and rides very well in the car with you. He is respectful at the park when he meets others that are his size, but does not care to interact much. Tim gets on well with his foster mates, but would really prefer to be the only dog in the home as he likely wants to be the center of your attention! He is not at all needy nor is he barky ... just would so love a family to call his own. Tim is working on his house training as he likely did not have any. We suspect that he was left to fend for himself alone in his prior home's backyard. He takes no issue with crating at all. He will require gentle guidance and patience from his new family as he continues his house training. We know he is a fast learner and is so willing to please! Tim has not been tested with small children, so we would like him with a family of adults or adults with kids older than 10 that have gentle hands and experience with small dogs like Tim. Tim is a longer coated breed that will require regular weekly brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep that gorgeous snowy white coat on point! Tim's adoption fee is $425.00 This fee includes his Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, his neuter, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Tim will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that he has been eating. His adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
