SAY HELLO TO PAWNEE! Pawnee is an adorable 18 month old Cairn Terrier mix girl. Weighing in at just 15 pounds, this black coated little sweetheart is a delight here at the rescue. Pawnee is a sweet, quiet, gentle gal who would rather snuggle watching tv than go on a hike. She will make such a wonderful family member! She is very well mannered and so very polite. She gets along with all of her foster mates and is a favorite here at the rescue. Pawnee is not at all barky or over excitable. She is not demanding and is a very easy dog to have around. She just loves to be near you! Pawnee walks well on her leash and greets everyone with a tail wag and a smile. She rides quietly in the car as she takes in the sites. She has no issue with the crate and is somewhat house trained, but like all rescues to a new home, will need gentle guidance and patience as she adjusts to her new family's routine. Pawnee has not been tested with small children, so she would do best with a family of adults or adults with kids older than 10 that have gentle hands and experience with small dogs like Pawnee. Pawnee is a medium coated breed that will require regular weekly brushing and professional grooming every 6-8 weeks to keep that gorgeous coat looking beautiful. Pawnee's adoption fee is $ 350.00 This fee includes her Veterinarian Wellness checks while here at the rescue, her spay, all vaccinations including rabies and bordatella, de-worming, a pre-adoption professional groom and a microchip with lifetime membership. Pawnee will also have a new collar and leash as well as a gift bag which includes among other things, a starter bag of the quality grain free kibble that she has been eating. Her adoption fee also allows us the ability to put funds towards the next little one in need of rescue!
