About Blondie

Blondie is wonderful in the home and is very respectful of everything in it. As with most youngsters, she would do best in a home with consistent leadership. She is still very puppy in her behavior and is therefore very teachable, learning best with repetition and consistent cues. Blondie loves her chew toys and occupies herself by chasing squirrels! Blondie is great in her crate at night (lets you sleep in!); she will wait all day in a crate for you to come home, but she would love to find someone that stays home during the day to work or play! She loves attention, being petted, bathed and talked to. She also stays off the furniture! Blondie is two years old and weighs 45 lbs; she is housebroken, crate trained and knows basic commands (is learning more all the time). She does well on her walks, but can be nervous meeting new dogs (the good news is she can be redirected). Blondie is a dog that wants to be included and be near the people in her life, so she would do best being the only animal in the home. Kids are fine, as long as they are a little older and can help with the guidance she needs. Blondie will thrive in a home that will set clear boundaries and expectations for her; a privacy fenced yard is a must for this active youngster.
