About Rocky

Meet Rocky! This dog needs a true hero, he's a senior boy and needs a truly special adopter to open their heart and home to him. Rocky is 11 years old. He's a German Shepard/ hound mix. He's approx 60lbs. He is neutered and is also up to date on shots. Rocky thinks he's a lap dog. He loves to cuddle and take daily walks. He likes being brushed and chewing on bones. He's very sweet and loving. He's good on car rides and even knows a few tricks. Unfortunately Rocky isn't socialized well and can't go to a home with cats, dogs or kids. He's also not completely housebroken or crate trained. Rocky also has a fatty tumor and seasonal grass allergies from around July to October. If you're still with me after those last parts please consider taking a chance with Rocky. He won't likely have many options in finding a place to spend his last few years being loved and cared for. He promises to repay you with high fives and cuddles!! His owners will provide his leash, bowls brush and even 2 months worth of dog food to anyone willing to open their home to him. Vet and home checks required. Instead of a rehoming fee being collected you will be asked to put $75 in an account for him at the vet of your choice for any future care he may need. He's located in Richmond but we can get him transported to surrounding areas for that special family. ** this is not my dog. I'm helping the family find a safe new home for him.
