Yep, you read the name correctly...meet Boat! He's one handsome dude who's likely to easily sail his way into your heart. Boat is extremely likable and is so grateful to be out of the shelter on his path to a forever home. This big guy gets along with other dogs and is gentle around children, though his size may be better suited for families with somewhat older children. He enjoys going on walks and would love be part of an active family. His fosters boast highly of his intelligence and trainability. So what do you say...can Boat set anchor in your home? Boat is not housebroken, he is working on it but with crate training and his willingness to learn he should get it pretty fast. He is also a little fearful of wipers on cars, but rode in the back of my car and was awesome. He is about 40lbs but should way more and we are beefing him up. He is about a year old but acts more like a 6 month old puppy. He is in CT and would love a forever. HE is certainly worth meeting. The adoption fee is $410.
