CHLOE the Cat! Please click on the Youtube video above! Chloe was rescued at the vet clinic my wife works at. Chloe was brought in because her owner was too old to properly care for her. Originally she was going to be euthanized because of this, but Chloe still has so much life to live. Chloe has lived her entire life with her previous owner, so moving into our foster care was a bit of a shock. She's slowly getting used to it, yet she really wants a new forever home. She uses her litter box, doesn't claw furniture, and likes to play with toys and scratch a scratching post. She loves to see people and get full cat rubs and will even flop to get belly rubs. She loves to be combed and brushed. She eats both dry and wet foods (preference of the adopter) and does drink a lot of water. Since she drinks lots of water, she uses her litter box to pee quite often. Thus, a traditional litter box with clumping litter may be too costly. We've invested in a pellet litter box that is much more economical with the pull tray and pee pads. This box will come with Chloe. Since she drinks a lot of water, we had her tested and she is healthy. Chloe has lived with us for about 3 months. She's been living in a spare bedroom as we watch for behaviors and daily habits. She will come to her new home with the litter box, toys, scratch post and cat carrier. Chloe just wants to sit in your lap or near you as you sit on the couch or spend time with you. We visit her multiple times during the day and she always runs to the door and is happy to greet you. She will meow and roll on her side, hoping for attention and love. We do have other cats in our home, thus we've kept Chloe separated only due the nature of her being a foster and not getting attached to the other animals. We've found that Chloe sometimes hisses at other cats. Yet, she has also been curious of them as well. I think Chloe may be best as a solo kitty but with a slow introduction she can possibly live with another feline and/or canine. We do have a dog and she's appeared to be a bit nervous around him. Again, we've purposely kept Chloe from interactions knowing she will soon go to her forever home. If possible we would like to offer the potential adopter a meet and greet to meet Chloe to see if she is a good fit. Feel free to email questions and/or let me know if you want to call.
