About Tilly

Tilly is a 7 1/2 year old pit/lab mix. She was given to me as a puppy and was a loyal and interesting companion to me and my 2 sons, but none of us were able to take her when we each moved away. She is spayed and is current on all checkups and vaccinations. She is on NextGard flea and Tick, and HeartGard Plus for heartworm prevention. She is charming and endearing, but it takes a little time to understand her personality. Everyone eventually comes to really love her. She will need to be with a strong, gentle person who has the time and knowledge to care for her properly. She is snaggle-toothed, which is funny and cute. She likes going for walks, swimming, being close to her people, playing with toys that keep her mind busy and reward her with a hidden treat. She can stay home alone for long stretches without any separation issues, but is ecstatic when her people come home. Tilly has an unpredictable personality, but will adjust with a patient and consistent human in a home with no other dogs or children. She can be aggressive, hyper, submissive, skittish, fearful, calm, affectionate, playful.
