IN DANGER OF EUTHANASIA MERYL - A4152402 My name is MERYL. I am a spayed female, brown merle Catahoula Leopard Hound. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old, and I have been at the shelter since Oct 03, 2018. I'm a very gentle, but strong girl who will require firm guidance as I can be independent, territorial, and protective. I know how to 'sit', 'come', 'down', and 'wait'. I'm very playful and energetic, loving all people and kids, too. I must be the only dog in the house, as I will assert myself in self-defense. I am very affectionate and loyal, and will be very protective of my family. I don't care a lot about toys, but being bred to be a working dog, having a job would be great. They say I'm close to being put on the euthanasia list, so I may not have much time left.
