About Tina

My name is Tina. I am from New Mexico and came to Colorado in October hoping to find my forever family here. I'm approx 5-7 y/o and 15#. Though some may think that I am kinda plain looking, I have a really cute underbite that adds to my character. I am a little chubby as I love any kibble you put in my bowl. I should probably not be given more than a couple servings of food each day until I lose a few pounds. I am affectionate and love to be held. I am willing to sleep under the covers with you or in a soft doggie bed. My foster mom gave me a hand knitted blankie that I like to be under in my bed. I am quiet, rarely barking at anything. I have other chihuahua friends where I'm staying and the only thing I don't like is any of them near the food bowl when I'm munching; I find that terribly rude. I just growl at them and my foster mom gets them away from me. We all play well together and I have a couple extra special boy dog friends. I can climb up on stuff like the couch..but I don't try to scale the dog gates. I don't do any digging though I like to explore around in the yard. I enjoy laying out in the sunshine on warm days. I am doing my best to go out the doggie door to potty, but I'm still learning how to give my foster family a sign that I want to go out. I like kisses on my head and I am learning how to give kisses back. I'm pretty mellow and don't do any crazy stuff like jump on people. I hope someone who sees my picture will find me the perfect fit for their family and home. I sure could use a loving forever place to live. Tina is spayed, utd on vaccs, HW-, and chipped.
