Arthur Joseph is a 70 LB, 1 1/2 -2 year old 75% White German Shepherd and 25% Greyhound mix. We have genetic testing results which can be forwarded upon request. His ears are more greyhound, but do stand up at times. ARTHUR NEEDS A HOME WITH A FAMILY WHO CAN HELP HIM OVERCOME HIS FEAR. We believe Arthur has a history of abuse. He is frightened of new people, and men in particular, but once he gets to know you, he is loyal and very loving. Arthur LOVES to cuddle, and wishes he was a lap dog. He is exceptionally smart, listens well, and does his best to please. He is great with kids, and protective of the people he loves. A home with a fenced yard, and big dog experience, is our preference. We believe Arthur would do best in a home with another large dog(s), he loves to play, and benefits psychologically from being part of the pack in his foster home. Obedience training (although he knows his basic commands), and daily exercise will help him gain confidence. Arthur is house trained, and will stay with his family, even if a door is left open.
