About Pepito

Pepito Female - Beautiful, short coat, Black w/while face markings and white belly and boots w/ green eyes cat - Age = 6 1/2 years old. Pepito was originally sprung by me from ACC on the day she was to be euthanized. She was found as a stray in Queens and at that time she was six months old and so frightened that when I needed to handle her (to give meds) she would scale her cage and grab on and I could barely get her out. Then, she would hide her head underneath the pit of my arm. Therefore, I let her be and figured, on her own time, she would come around. She's a sweet cat, that has a sweet face, and when she wants soft food she will let you know with a sweet little 'up'. You just want to kiss her! However, you can't as she never did come around. However, I truly believe this is because there are too many cats here and therefore I haven't been able to give her the full one-on-one love and care she needs and deserves. She needs more freedom w/love and devotion from her very own human! If she is given this type of love, from an experienced cat person, I believe she will be able to come full circle. However, there is no guarantee. Therefore, due to the nature of Pepito, at this time, no children or other animals should be in your home. If you have handled semi feral cats before, then you know the joy you will receive - if you are able to bring Pepito 'full circle'. She is totally worth it! My hope is to find a couple of people willing to invest the, much needed, time and devotion - in Pepito - to give her a stress free life where she can enjoy her own bed without having to worry if another cat is around the corner looking to 'get her'. And, a couple of humans that understand that Pepito deserves their love, care and security and will receive these for the rest of her beautiful life! Rescue Group/'New Hope' person welcome!
