About Shadow

Shadow Male - Beautiful black, short coat - son of a Bombay cat w/green eyes. Age = 5 years old. He was born in my home after I sprung his Mother from ACC on the day she was to be euthanized. He has a beautiful personality, he is almost human as I believe he knows when you need a friend and he will sit, straight up (like a Siamese cat) while you talk to him, while he looks right into your eyes, and listens carefully. He loves attention and rubs his head against you when touched. He was named Shadow and does live up to his name as he loves to follow you around. He is a 'busy cat' that has a great deal of curiosity and this, at times, gets him in some tough spots (likes to open closet doors and explore inside and can be relentless) but loves it when you come to his rescue and let him back out! He does have a 'flower/plant faddish' and for this reason he will pull apart and/or eat any flower or plant weather or not they are living. Therefore, if your home is one that is filled with flowers and/or plants, even artificial ones, then Shadow isn't the cat for your home. Shadow, would make a great, loving, family cat for someone who has non-aggressive children (ones' that respect cats). Shadow can take all the love, and then some, you can give him and the more 'hands on' lovin the better! Shadow has not had the benefit of not having to share his human with other cats and he longs for this situation! I have many foster cats here and Shadow has not liked to share his human and so, recently, has been found chasing and swatting them. Therefore, best to be the only cat! My hope is that a very loving family (maybe a family of four) will adopt Shadow and give him the love, care and security he needs for the rest of his beautiful life!
