About Ferris

Ferris Female - Beautiful, short coat, black & white w/green eyes- age= 12 years Ferris was originally sprung by me from ACC on the day she was to be euthanized . She is FIV Positive - but a 'sweetheart' of a cat and therefore I have had no concern for other cats in my household. With her sweet temperament, she loves to roll over and show off her belly! She was emaciated, with a Upper Respiratory Infection and missing patches of fur when she came to me. Would not even lift her head up. In addition, which wasn't know until it was her time - she was pregnant. Soon, she gave birth (at six years old) to two kittens and she was the best Mom ever...always made sure her kittens were safe...she would put her paw on them for protection. And, let them have their feeding of mommies milk as often as they wanted! Ferris is like a big kitten and loves to run and play! However, she recently put on a great deal of weight, and this, I believe is because she is competing with the other cats here - with fear of being without food. She needs an adopter that will NOT free feed her and feed on a schedule only with quality food. *** NOTE - Must be adopted with her son - Cutie Pie/Bolt - as they are very bonded!
