Emerald and Ruby were born in their foster home. Their mother found herself in our local kill shelter and lived there until entering our foster system on April 2, 2018. Emerald and Ruby have a bond like no other. They can almost always be found together, whether it be sleeping or getting into trouble. Ruby is the more outgoing and adventurous of the two. She is always seeking the next adventure. She loves to have conversations with her foster. Emerald is more reserved to start, but once she warms up she is just as silly. She takes a mothering role with her sister. Emerald's favorite activity is drinking water from a running faucet. Both girls love to cuddle and play with toys. They even like to sleep under blankets! Emerald and Ruby have grown up in a foster home with other cats, dogs, and children.
