Jax was born 5/5/17 and weighs about 145 pounds. He is a big, strong boy, and also thinks he's a lap dog at times. I adopted him and his sister July of last year and has only been with myself and teenage daughter. He started to have aggression issues with objects (curtains, brooms, vacuums, shovels, electric cords, and trash cans to name a few)and also his sister. I had him neutered thinking it would help, but did not. He went to a 30 day board and train and learned great manners and his aggression towards most objects stopped (still attacks brooms, vacuums, but not curtains or electric cords). He still has aggression towards his sister and we've had stitches and many trips to the vet. He started Prozac a few months ago and his aggression towards her are not as often; however, it still happens and it gets very vicious and I cannot separate them. I have heard that it may be a sibling thing. I am not sure how he is with other dogs, as i am afraid to take him near others; he mostly ignores the cat, but sometimes will chase her. He is great with me (although very protective)my teenage daughter, and her friends. I don't have many people at my house, but he has been mostly obedient, he does growl at some people (male or female) and guards me; I generally just put him out if new people are around. He also has a very loving, sweet, playful side. He is mostly lazy, and not high energy. He has been treated very well, and slightly spoiled as you can see in pics (he sleeps with mom and his sister). I am not sure what he needs, perhaps be an only dog, maybe have a job; I wish I had the answers, he really is a lovebug with me most of the time; however he has snapped at me when I correct him, or try to separate him from his sister. If anyone out there has time, patience, and knowledge, I know he would make someone a great companion. Thank you!
