Bowie found himself at our local kill shelter as a young kitten. He lived there until entering our foster system on September 9, 2018. Bowie earned his name from one of our team members who joked that he was the Goblin King after seeing how scraggly he looked on intake. Bowie has blossomed into a handsome man now. He is a very sweet boy who will come to people for kisses and petting. He also goes wild with play! He loves to chase balls and bat around mice. Bowie has grown up in a foster home with other cats, dogs, and children. He would do best in a home with another cat to play with. Bowie has been tested negative for FELV and FIV. Bowie struggles with chronic upper respiratory issues. While he is not contagious to other cats, he often has sneezing fits and blows snot rockets. His condition is managed with daily l-lysine supplements mixed in his food.
