About Donkey

Meet Donkey - the dog as goofy as his name! This approx 1 yr old medium sized pup is a happy go lucky guy who came to us from an area shelter as a skinny, scrawny stray. Donkey is looking and feeling so much better now, having gained some weight and is now sporting a nice glossy coat, and is ready to find his forever family. He is looking for a family who is happy to participate in his puppy antics, take him on lots of walks and adventures, help him with training and learn basic manners and housebreaking. Donkey has done well with everyone he has met and seems to particularly love the older kids he has met while out and about at local adoption events. He does enjoy playing with other dogs here, but can be a bit rough and tumble and get a little over excited so he would be best as an only dog or with a family comfortable with doing proper introductions while the dogs get to know each other.
