Milo and Maple are 6-month old kitties who were recently rescued and have now been vet-checked; neutered/spayed/tested/vaccinated, etc. We do not know how old they were when they were left outside in a rural neighborhood, but they were very thin and scared when they were rescued. They are both shy, but while Maple (the female) is quite assertive, Milo is the timid one of the pair. Both of them are totally adorable. Both have wee little tails! We are looking for one or more adoptive homes ASAP as they are currently living in one cage in an unheated garage. Unfortunately, this rescue was unexpected, but we wanted to give them a chance that they would otherwise not have had and this was the best accommodation that we could come up with on short notice. Milo and Maple are cohabiting well, but do not seem to be strongly bonded; while Maple is scared but bold, Milo is scared and seems reserved. Because they are not strongly bonded, but cohabitate well, we are comfortable with adopting them separately or together. We are looking for a stable indoor-only home and we believe that they will best thrive in a home where there are other cat(s). Potential owners should be loving and experienced cat owners who will have both the perseverance and patience needed to provide a safe and nurturing permanent home. Please help us give these innocent kittens a second chance. Thanks.
