Re-homing the sweetest American Bulldog His Story: I found him standing in the middle of the road, during the triple digit June heat, out in the middle of the desert. I looked for his owner for weeks, posting multiple flyers and calling numerous shelters. The vet that I brought him to thinks he was just dumped because the owner could no longer care for him (so sad because he's a great boy). I've had a lot of dogs in my life & he is by far one of the sweetest boys I've ever encountered. The vet thinks he is about 4 years old. He is up to date with his Rabies vaccine & vet physical (I had them done with the local veterinarian in Big Bear). He is mostly deaf (will turn his head sometimes for sounds with different pitches) - the vet said this is a common condition for white, large breed dogs. He gets along fantastic with every dog, big or small. He loves being outside, going for walks, cuddling on the couch & sleeping with 4 paws in the air. I already have 2 dogs at home & cannot do 3 large dogs -- my intention was to foster him for a week or 2 when I first found him but he's so lovable I've kept him around for months. However, I have some upcoming hiking trips that I'll be bringing my 2 dogs with & need to find him his forever home. I will be selective about who he goes with because he deserves the best home someone can offer.
