Who's ready for a SUPER CUTE CHIHUAHUA with EXCEPTIONAL EARS? Junior Mint is ready for you!! Another case of a sweet boy who's owner passed away and Junior has found himself without a home or family. Junior is 5 years old and having a blast playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is a spunky little guy with quite a grand bounce in his spring when he's excited about a treat. Looking for love and friendship, and a nice cozy and calm home, hoping you have another little dog or two who likes to play :) Along with his cuteness comes a personality that can be a little tricky. He's afraid of storms and prefers to hide in tight places to feel safe. While our normal tendancy is to want to get him out and comfort him, he just needs to stay there. He comes out when he's ready. And there may be other situations where he makes himself intentionally confined -- just need to let him feel safe enough to come out on his own. And he's not the best with crates so he will need a home where his people let him roam freely and of course sleep on the big bed with the people :) Junior hits it off instantly with some people and with others he takes time. He cannot be pressued, he cannot be coaxed. He cannot be sweet-talked. He just needs to take his time. His adopter will need to be aware of this for all family members and visiting guests. That said, he'll do best in a home without a lot of 'hectic,' ... without a lot of guests coming and going, and without kids. Adoption fee for Junior is $170. He's an adorable little squirt with a beautiful black coat and a huge personality ... LOTS of love..... neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped as well.
