'SATCHMO' is a handsome, 1 to 2 yr old, 75 lb. 'English-style' Labrador Retriever we rescued from a very high kill pound. A very good-natured boy who is eager to please, gentle, kind, and fun. A loving boy who just wants to be your best buddy and do stuff with you & go places with you. Satchmo is an 'innocent', with a gentle, sweet, wide-eyed wonder of the world. Satchmo is neutered, has been de-wormed, is current on vaccinations, on monthly heart worm preventative, micro-chipped, crate-trained and house-trained. This rescue does not administer it's own vaccination shots. All of our rescued dogs' medical care has been administered by a licensed Veterinarian. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., pro-biotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrous coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition.
