About Max

Max is an observant young boy. He is relatively quiet in his kennel, when he's not amusing himself as he chases his own tail. Although Max has a pretty easy going personality, he is best suited with older children, 10+. He walks well on a leash, but we have noticed his hearing is quite selective at times. He could have some hearing loss and will require a physically fenced-in yard.Max has recently been treated for heartworm, and has recovered well. His energy level should still be monitored and he will need to be on heartworm prevention year round. Max may be best as the only dog, he may coexist with another dog not sure if he is looking for a playmate. (Meet-n-greets are required). He has not been tested with cats at this time. Max will be a great companion for the right person, couple, or family.
