About Diego

Diego is a professional at melting hearts! He loves every single person he meets, he is good with other dogs and cats too! He is so much fun, always smiling and happy. Diego is leash trained and crate trained. He has made amazing progress with his housebreaking and currently he has gone days without accidents but his adopter should be prepared to continue with his training. His current weight is 15.4 lbs as of 10/31 He was 17 lbs on intake 10/6. he needs to continue to loose weight, the vet thinks he should be approx 12-13 lbs. Diego would benefit from daily walks and or a somewhat active home so he can get plenty of exercise. Diego will have a dental on 11/8 prior to his adoption. He was recently shaved only due to matting, he will soon have a beautiful full pomeranian coat! ~Diego was adopted from COPR several years ago, but his parents are no longer able to care for him so he is back with us. He is 9 yrs. old (since we don't know his actual b-day, we are making it 10/1/09). In foster care in Youngstown, OH Diego is eligible for our Senior to Senior program - Approved Adopters, Age 65 and older, will receive $100 off adoption fee towards adoption of any dog age 7 & older.
