About Phoebe

Super sweet, happy maltese mix who is house trained, can walk with you / stay with you without using leash, doesn't bark (or only on very rare occasions). Awesome companion dog and can provide vet records and behavioral assessment. Owner (my mom) has advanced dementia and has to transfer to assisted living within the next 2 months. My siblings live in Australia and I cannot adopt Phoebe because I have 2 rescue pugs in an apartment and not allowed to have additional pets. Plus, both pugs I rescued have serious medical issues. I am looking at all options so Phoebe can have the great life she deserves. I don't want her to ever have to go to a shelter because I fear she will be euthanized due to her weight and age. Phoebe was rescued by my mom as a puppy and has been treated with lots of love. No physical abuse ever -- just overfed due to loss of short-term memory.Phoebe has lived with other dogs, a cat, and been around small children -- never had an issue. Very social and friendly.
