About Tucker

Meet Tucker, He was born at our rescue from a Mother who we pulled from Animal Control when she was highly pregnant. He was originally adopted to a local family who gave him lots of attention until he got bigger and then he was put outside and basically ignored, not to ever be allowed back into the house. The Garage became his home. As he got bigger and always wanting to play the children became scared of him and kept telling Momma to take him back to the Dog Man (me). He was just became too big and too rough because he was not properly trained. Finally at 10 months I was asked to take him back. When I first meet him, he was so happy to see me, he would not stay down, constantly jumping up on me. He was so lonely wanting attention and someone to be with but it was extremely annoying. This jumping up on me continued for several weeks until he finally calmed down and now there has been so much improvement with his behavior. He is a wonderful dog, Always wants to be with me. Loves to travel in the car. He listens pretty well but could still use some training. He just turned 1 year of age but still has a lot of puppy in him which I see everyday with him playing with all the other pups I have. He is neutered and utd on shots. He is a high energy dog looking for a high energy family or person that can keep him engaged and busy. Having a playmate for him would be the perfect situation. He is learning quickly here at the rescue. You can always find him on the Bed or the Sofa. Tucker is a good boy and will make a great family dog. He is house trained with a doggie door. He has never pooped or peed in my house or car. I have 2 cats who interact with him on a daily basis. He weighs 40 lbs. Vet reference or home visit will be conducted before application can be approved.
