Courtesy Posting: Meet beautiful Java. She was adopted as a puppy from the shelter 7 years ago, but her owner sadly surrendered her alleging she could hop over 6 foot fences. She is currently in a foster home through the shelter program with a short fence and has not tried to escape. She is 48 lbs, has a chow body, black tongue and fluff, but has the face sort of like a keeshonden, german shepherd or finnish spitz all mixed in one. Whatever she is mixed with, she is gorgeous. And, has lots of energy- as evident in the videos we have. Transport to a nearby state may be possible to a qualified adopter. However, Java likely needs someone with chow experience. She is doing well in her foster home but is already showing signs of a typical chow being protective of her new person. Below, are also a few more videos, and further notes from the shelter.
