About Gus

This gorgeous full Pekingese boy is Gus. He is 7 years old and weighs 9 pounds. Gus was surrendered to us by his owner who could no longer give him the attention he deserves. Long work hours meant too much time on his own and that just wasn't fair to him, so a hard decision was made to give him up to find a better home where he would not be so lonely. He is up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative and neutered. Gus pretty much has it all. He is potty trained, he gets along with other dogs and he loves to cuddle. He has a gorgeous coat and was just groomed so he is ready for his close up!. Gus walks well on a leash and he gets along with cats but doesn't like to be around small kids. He likes to sleep on the bottom of the big bed with his person and is just a delightful guy to have around. We get the impression he was pretty much pammered in his former life. He goes outside to do his business, no problem. When he is done, he will bark once to let you know so that you can come and get him to carry him back into the house!! Something tells us he knows way more about his Imperial Chinese lineage than we do! If you are looking for a companion with a regal bearing, Gus is definitely the guy for you!!!
